Game nights
Welcoming events for board games, trading cards, Dungeons & Dragons, Pokémon, and other shared interests where older kids and teens can connect, have fun, and enjoy what they like.
A project of The Stay Network
Encouraging older kids and teens to keep enjoying, exploring, and embracing the interests they love.
What it is about
Stay True Project encourages older kids and teens to continue enjoying positive interests, hobbies, creativity, and activities that bring them joy, even as they grow older and face pressure to move on from things they still enjoy.
Why this matters
As older kids and teens grow, they can sometimes feel pressure to leave behind hobbies, creative interests, favorite activities, games, books, art, imagination, collections, music, or other positive interests in order to fit in, appear more mature, or avoid judgment. Stay True Project exists to encourage them to keep exploring and embracing the interests they love in a healthy, age-appropriate way.
How we help
Stay True Project may include encouragement, written resources, creative materials, digital tools, community partnerships, activities, and future programming that promote confidence, creativity, healthy interests, and belonging.
What it does not mean
Stay True Project is not about encouraging people to avoid growth, maturity, or responsibility. It is about helping older kids and teens grow while still staying connected to the positive interests, hobbies, creativity, and activities that bring them joy.
