Charitable Purpose & Programs

How The Stay Network serves through projects, partners, resources, and fundraisers.

A detailed overview of The Stay Network’s nonprofit purpose, public benefit, project areas, partner support, fundraisers, use of funds, and current tax-status information.

The Stay Network, Inc.

The Stay Network, Inc. is a Wisconsin nonprofit organization formed to develop and support charitable, educational, faith-based, and community-centered programs that encourage play, creativity, confidence, connection, belonging, and meaningful personal growth.

Our work is organized through mission-driven projects that serve children, families, teens, adults, churches, schools, libraries, nonprofit organizations, and other community partners. Each project has its own focus, but all are connected by the same broader purpose: helping people stay connected to positive, life-giving parts of life that support learning, relationships, faith, joy, identity, and community.

The Stay Network may carry out this mission through program resources, donated products, educational and creative materials, digital tools, encouragement, events, fundraisers, community partnerships, and future programming. These activities are intended to advance the organization’s nonprofit purposes, make practical encouragement and meaningful resources more accessible, and support the people and communities we serve.

What we do

Practical encouragement through focused projects.

The Stay Network creates and supports projects that help people stay connected to play, creativity, faith, confidence, belonging, and meaningful community life.

In practical terms, this may include product giveaways, puzzles, games, creative materials, faith-based activity resources, digital tools, mission-focused fundraisers, and partnerships with schools, libraries, churches, ministries, shelters, youth groups, nonprofit organizations, and community groups.

Some programs serve children and families directly. Others support trusted organizations that already serve their communities. Across all of our work, the goal is to make practical encouragement, meaningful resources, healthy play, positive interests, Christian faith, creativity, and community support more accessible.

Who we serve

People, families, and organizations.

The Stay Network serves children, families, teens, adults, churches, schools, libraries, shelters, youth groups, nonprofit organizations, community groups, and local organizations that want to encourage play, connection, creativity, confidence, belonging, faith-based encouragement, or community support.

Our programs are designed to support people and organizations that can use practical encouragement, meaningful resources, playful tools, faith-based support, creative materials, or community-centered programming.

Public benefit

Making meaningful resources and support more accessible.

The Stay Network’s programs are designed to provide public benefit by making positive resources, activities, encouragement, creative materials, faith-based resources, digital tools, donated products, and fundraising support more accessible to children, families, schools, libraries, churches, ministries, shelters, youth groups, nonprofit organizations, and community partners.

Through its projects, The Stay Network seeks to support learning, creativity, healthy play, family connection, positive interests, faith-based encouragement, community involvement, and service to others. This includes helping children and families make room for age-appropriate play, helping older kids and teens stay connected to positive interests they enjoy, and helping churches, schools, libraries, shelters, youth groups, nonprofits, and community organizations access practical tools that support their own missions.

The Stay Network also works with mission-aligned partners so trusted local organizations can better serve the people and communities they reach. These partnerships may help expand access to product giveaways, program materials, faith-based activity resources, creative tools, youth activities, family resources, mission-focused fundraisers, and community-centered support.

The public benefit of The Stay Network’s work is not limited to the products or materials provided. The broader purpose is to encourage meaningful activity, connection, confidence, faith, creativity, belonging, service, and practical support in ways that are accessible and useful to the public.

Stay Playful Project

Helping children and families make room for healthy play, imagination, and the simple joys of childhood, without rushing kids to grow up too quickly.

Stay Playful Project encourages children, families, and community groups to make room for play, imagination, creativity, and the simple joys of childhood. For children, staying playful means having opportunities to enjoy age-appropriate play, curiosity, silliness, creativity, and meaningful time with others without being rushed to grow up too quickly.

Through product giveaways, puzzles, games, playful materials, creative resources, family-friendly activities, planned digital play apps, and future community programming, Stay Playful Project helps make positive forms of play more accessible to families, schools, libraries, shelters, youth groups, nonprofit organizations, and other community partners.

Play is not only entertainment. It can support learning, creativity, family connection, social connection, and emotional well-being. Stay Playful Project uses giveaways, playful resources, digital play tools, and community partnerships to advance The Stay Network’s charitable and educational mission.

Digital Play & Planned Apps

Stay Playful Project may include simple digital play apps, games, and online activities that support the same mission of encouraging play, imagination, creativity, curiosity, and age-appropriate fun.

We believe digital games can be a healthy part of play when they are designed and used with children and families in mind. Our goal is to create digital experiences that are low-pressure, age-appropriate, and free from stressful advertising or manipulative design. Digital play should support childhood, not rush children out of it.

Because healthy play also requires balance, reasonable time limits are an important part of the Stay Playful approach. Playing games can be positive, creative, and fun, but screen-based play should not replace real-world play, family connection, outdoor activity, creativity, rest, or community involvement. Stay Playful digital tools are intended to encourage healthy use, including breaks, balance, and reasonable time limits.

Stay Playful Project plans to offer many digital play tools and online activities for free or at accessible entry points, so families and children can participate without unnecessary financial barriers. Some future mobile apps may include a low-cost yearly subscription to help cover development, hosting, updates, safety, maintenance, and operating costs, especially because the project aims to avoid ad-driven experiences.

Any fees collected through Stay Playful digital tools are intended to sustain the program and advance The Stay Network’s charitable and educational mission. The goal is to provide children and families with another safe, playful option within the broader mission of helping kids enjoy childhood, imagination, creativity, and meaningful play.

Stay True Project

Encouraging older kids and teens to keep enjoying, exploring, and embracing the interests they love.

Stay True Project encourages older children and teens to continue enjoying positive interests, hobbies, creativity, and activities that bring them joy, even as they grow older and face pressure to move on from things they still enjoy.

As older kids and teens grow, they can sometimes feel pressure to leave behind hobbies, creative interests, favorite activities, games, books, art, imagination, collections, music, or other positive interests in order to fit in, appear more mature, or avoid judgment. Stay True Project exists to encourage them to keep exploring and embracing the interests they love in a healthy, age-appropriate way.

The project may include encouragement, written resources, creative materials, digital tools, community partnerships, activities, and future programming that promote confidence, creativity, healthy interests, and belonging.

Stay True Project is not about encouraging people to avoid growth, maturity, or responsibility. It is about helping older kids and teens grow while still staying connected to the positive interests, hobbies, creativity, and activities that bring them joy.

Stay Faithful Project

Encouraging Christian faith through meaningful activities, creative resources, and mission-focused support.

Stay Faithful Project encourages Christian faith through creative, meaningful, and accessible activities, products, artwork, and resources. The project may include Bible-themed puzzles, scripture-inspired artwork, faith-based activity materials, church fundraiser products, family resources, youth group materials, and future digital tools that help individuals, families, churches, and ministries engage with faith in a positive and practical way.

The project is designed to support Christian faith at home, in churches, and within community settings by making faith-based encouragement more practical, creative, and accessible. Products and resources may be used for family activities, church programs, youth groups, outreach, encouragement, fundraising, or faith-centered learning.

Stay Faithful Project may also help churches, ministries, and faith-based groups raise support through mission-focused fundraisers. These fundraisers may use faith-based products, artwork, puzzles, activity materials, or other meaningful items to support church programs, youth activities, missions, service projects, outreach, and community needs.

Any products, fundraisers, or future digital tools connected to Stay Faithful Project are intended to encourage Christian faith, support churches and ministries, and advance The Stay Network’s charitable, educational, faith-based, and community-centered mission.

Product giveaways

Donated materials and resources.

The Stay Network may receive donated products, purchase program materials, or partner with businesses, individuals, churches, schools, libraries, nonprofits, and community organizations to provide items at no cost to people or groups who can use them.

These items may include puzzles, games, creative materials, books, artwork, educational resources, faith-based materials, activity products, or other products connected to the mission of one or more projects.

Interested individuals, families, schools, libraries, shelters, youth groups, churches, ministries, nonprofit organizations, and community groups may contact The Stay Network to ask about available products, materials, resources, or partnership opportunities. The Stay Network may also reach out to organizations or groups that it believes may be a good fit for its programs.

Giveaways, donated materials, and partner support are not guaranteed and may depend on available resources, program fit, community need, partner requests, timing, and The Stay Network’s charitable, educational, faith-based, and community-centered purposes. The Stay Network reviews requests and opportunities and determines which ones it is able to support.

Product giveaways are intended to advance The Stay Network’s charitable, educational, faith-based, and community-centered mission. They are not intended to create private benefit or operate as ordinary commercial sales.

Program partners

Working with trusted organizations.

The Stay Network may work with schools, libraries, churches, ministries, shelters, youth groups, nonprofit organizations, and community groups as program partners. These partnerships help The Stay Network carry out its mission through trusted organizations that already serve children, families, teens, faith communities, and local communities.

Program partners may receive donated products, program materials, creative resources, digital tools, faith-based activity resources, fundraiser support, shared fundraiser proceeds, or other mission-aligned assistance connected to one or more of The Stay Network’s projects.

These partnerships may support activities such as product giveaways, school or library resources, youth programs, family activities, church and ministry programs, outreach efforts, service projects, mission-focused fundraisers, and community events.

For church, ministry, and faith-based school fundraisers, The Stay Network intends for proceeds to be shared in a way that supports both the participating organization and The Stay Network’s nonprofit mission. The exact portion available to the participating organization may vary depending on the product, production costs, payment processing fees, shipping, fulfillment, and the structure of the fundraiser.

For other schools, libraries, shelters, youth groups, nonprofit organizations, and community groups, partnership structures may vary depending on the needs of the organization, the type of fundraiser, and the project involved. Some partnerships may provide donated products or program materials, while others may include product-based fundraising support or shared proceeds.

Each fundraising partnership will identify the organization or program being supported and explain how proceeds are intended to be used.

Partner support is intended for mission-aligned organizational, program, educational, faith-based, charitable, or community purposes, not personal or private benefit.

Partner relationships are intended to expand access to practical encouragement, meaningful resources, healthy play, creative activities, faith-based support, and community-centered programming. The goal is to help mission-aligned organizations serve people more effectively while advancing The Stay Network’s charitable, educational, faith-based, and community-centered purposes.

Fundraisers

Fundraising as program support.

The Stay Network may use product-based fundraisers, online sales, donations, sponsorships, grants, events, and partnerships to raise money for its charitable programs.

The Stay Network may also partner with schools, churches, ministries, youth groups, nonprofit organizations, community groups, and other mission-aligned organizations to help them raise support through product-based fundraisers and related programs. These partnerships may support school activities, church programs, youth programs, outreach, service projects, community needs, educational activities, mission trips, local nonprofit work, and other approved purposes connected to the mission of the participating organization.

Funds raised through The Stay Network’s own fundraising efforts may be used for program expenses, donated products, community outreach, educational resources, digital tools, events, insurance, website costs, administrative expenses, professional services, and future projects.

Fundraising activity is intended to support charitable, educational, faith-based, and community-centered purposes. The purpose of fundraising is to support and expand The Stay Network’s programs, help mission-aligned organizations raise needed support, and provide practical tools for community benefit — not to operate a profit-focused business.

Use of funds

How donations and funds are used.

Donations, fundraiser proceeds, sponsorships, grants, and other support may be used to carry out The Stay Network’s nonprofit programs and mission. This may include product giveaways, program materials, educational and creative resources, faith-based activity materials, digital tools, community outreach, events, and mission-aligned support for partner organizations.

Funds may also be used for reasonable operating needs that help the organization serve people effectively, including website and technology costs, insurance, administrative support, professional services, reasonable fundraising costs, and future programming connected to The Stay Network’s charitable, educational, faith-based, and community-centered purposes.

The Stay Network’s goal is to use funds responsibly to make practical encouragement, meaningful resources, and mission-based programs more accessible to the children, families, schools, churches, libraries, shelters, youth groups, nonprofit organizations, and community partners we serve.

Mission tools

Products are tools, not the purpose by themselves.

Products, puzzles, games, artwork, apps, digital tools, fundraiser items, and other materials are tools used to support the mission of The Stay Network.

They may be used for giveaways, encouragement, education, outreach, fundraising, partner organization fundraisers, creative activities, faith-based support, family connection, or community programming.

The organization’s purpose is not simply to sell products. The purpose is to use practical tools, resources, and programs to encourage play, belonging, confidence, faith, creativity, connection, and meaningful community support.
